Three button gateway is the graphical user interface that is used to run the smart home demos, thus provides a single point control of the home
Features
- Has been designed based on the well thought hypothesis, and existing designs of popular devices e.g. GPS navigator.
- Has three buttons on each screen.
- Color coding schemes are used for buttons and fonts.
- Navy blue color – button in normal mode.
- Orange color – button in operational mode.
- White color – text on buttons.
- In future all smart home demos will be run using this gateway
Use Cases
Mr. Anderson, an 80-year-old man, lives by himself. He has a seeing problem and has a bad memory. He scans the food he bought from Walmart and put it in the smart microwave. The smart microwave automatically detects the cooking time and start running. After 5 minutes, the smart microwave reminds Mr. Anderson the food is ready.
